New Mexico Men’s Wellness has been in existence informally for over 35 years since 1985. In 2010, we became New Mexico Men’s Wellness, Inc. with our incorporation and approval by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit. The Bylaws specify how we are governed as a corporation. NMMW strongly endorses openness and transparency, the full bylaws are are included here for anyone to read and review. New Mexico Men’s Wellness Board
The NMMW Board is an all volunteer Board for a minimum 2 year term. Officer appointments are for 1 year. It is composed of President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and 5 at large members. The leader of the Fall conference also has an automatic spot on the Board for their year of leadership. The Board meets quarterly, and one of the meetings is at the Fall conference, when new Board members begin their terms. All members are welcome to attend these meetings and to bring forth suggestions and proposals.
